Live Water Mains Inspection Advanced Live Pipeline Inspection for Proactive Maintenance

Traditional water main inspections often require isolations and draining, resulting in service disruptions and limited visibility into pipeline performance under normal operating conditions.

Saltire’s Live Pipeline Inspection systems provide a non-intrusive alternative, allowing pressurised pipelines to be inspected live without isolations or interruption to customer supply.

Using advanced CCTV and acoustic technologies, the systems deliver real-time insight into pipeline condition to support commissioning works, internal surveys and failure detection across live water networks.

Our Solution Overview

Our suite of Live Pipeline Inspection technologies is designed to provide comprehensive and non-disruptive assessment of pressurised pipelines. With multiple camera models available, Saltire can inspect pipelines across a range of diameters and pressure conditions, providing flexibility for different network environments and project requirements.

The systems can navigate multiple bends and access points, allowing detailed internal inspections to be undertaken in challenging environments without the need for excavation.

Compact and mobile, the cameras generate detailed reporting on pipeline condition while detecting leaks, obstructions and anomalies under live operating conditions. The systems are fully disinfected and certified safe for potable water networks, supporting safe and reliable deployment across critical water infrastructure.

Additionally, Saltire’s remote technology allows clients to securely access real-time inspection data and visual footage from anywhere, providing improved visibility and transparency throughout the inspection process.
